Dr. Manuel López Forja is presenting the essays of Andrés Iduarte (1907-1984) prominent figure in Mexican literature, as a philosophical method to understand the political and cultural relations between Spain and Latin America. This effort can open the boundaries of classical philosophy of culture to add Hispanic Studies as a new source of knowledge. He will be presenting on Friday August 2 at the 2024 XXV World Congress of Philosophy at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ under the title 'Hispano-Americanism as a new philosophical tradition : the proposals of Andrés Iduarte for Latin America identity'.
