The CIVIS3i team was pleased to virtually host the CIVIS Alliance community to the official kick-off meeting for CIVIS3i on the 24th of June. The meeting began with a public session dedicated to the CIVIS research community, and was hosted by the Rector of the Autonomous University of Madrid, currently holding the rotating presidency of CIVIS. An internal meeting followed for the programme partners, including the four universities involved, the other five CIVIS universities and the associated non-academic partners. This restricted session gave more detail on the management and activities for the 50-months of the programme. The CIVIS3i team was delighted to have the presence of the our project officer at the European Research Executive Agency, Ms. Marie de Looz-Corswarem, who presented REA's requirements and practical features.
