Nearly 150 researchers applied for a CIVIS3i Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship, on the Programme's Second Call — an EU funding that helps researchers to gain experience and skills by working abroad.
The call makes available over €1.9 million to fund the projects of researchers who have a doctoral degree or at least four years’ full-time research experience in any scientific domain. Social Sciences and Humanities, Life Sciences, and Environmental and Geosciences, remain the most popular scientific areas.
Projects will be selected for funding with the support of external independent experts, with evaluations starting in December 2022. CIVIS3i's second Call will fund 16 excellent researchers to develop their 2-year projects within Aix Marseille University, Université libre de Bruxelles, Sapienza Universitat di Roma and Universidad Autonoma de Madrid from 2023 onwards. extensive collaboration within and beyond the CIVIS Alliance universities is expected.
During the Second Call, a comprehensive InfoDay and 8 Q&A events dedicated to applicants’ questions received over 140 participants from around the world. These live sessions were held every week before the call deadline.
